If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, then listen up. On every MacAddict CD we have included an icon named "MacAddict CD Catalog (1 - xx)". Those of you in the know have found this utility a vital tool in locating software titles on your MacAddict CDs quickly and easily. Those of you who see this as just another icon probably recognize yourselves outlined above.
The MacAddict CD Catalog contains a complete listing of every software title that has appeared on a MacAddict CD from Disc 1 up to the current disc you have inserted in your CD-ROM drive. The catalog itself is actually a DiskTracker file. DiskTracker is a fantastic shareware disk cataloging program by Mark Pirri. You will need to install this program (look in the "Utilities" folder on recent MacAddict CDs) to view our CD catalog. Once you have DiskTracker installed, you will need to install the MacAddict CD Catalog into your system. Keep in mind that this file is updated every month so your odds of finding the software you're looking for is much higher if you install the catalog from your most recent MacAddict disc. Once installed, simply double-click on the catalog file and the archive will open. What you will see is a list of every MacAddict CD in succession. From here, you can view the contents each CD contains, search for a particular title by performing a Find (command-F), or printing out your own customized index.
